Now is the time to have your say on the future of our local parks, with community consultation for the City of Mandurah’s 2025/26 Parks Renewal Program now open.

Seven parks and reserves are due for upgrades as part of the program, including:

  • Florida Beach Foreshore, Dawesville
  • Watersun Reserve Basketball Court, Silver Sands
  • Darwin Terrace Boardwalk, Dudley Park
  • Bardoc Reserve, Greenfields
  • Henson Park, Silver Sands
  • Olive Park Reserve, Falcon
  • Oaklands Reserve, Halls Head

By getting involved now, you’ll help shape the design of play equipment, seating, pathways, lighting, landscaping and other enhancements that will make these parks safer, more accessible and more enjoyable for everyone.

Consultation dates for each park vary, with periods open from November 2025 – March 2026.

Community feedback received throughout these periods will inform City officers as they develop concept plans for each upgrade. Once developed, concept plans will be released to the public prior to being finalised.

Special drop-in sessions will also be held for each park or reserve, giving residents the chance to chat with the City’s Landscape Services team and provide their feedback in person.

For more information on each consultation period, or to find out when drop-in sessions will be happening near you, visit Mandurah Matters here.

Mandurah’s local parks play a vital role in connecting our community – they’re the places where families meet, neighbours chat, and kids explore and play. That’s why community consultation is a key step, so we can ensure each park reflects the needs, ideas and desires of the people who use it most.

Thank you for helping us make Mandurah’s parks even better places to play, relax and connect.
